SMARTER WASTE, CLEANER FUTURE

01
Municipal Solid Waste or MSW
IOC/ECO manages MSW from residential areas, hotels, motels, and similar facilities. MSW includes waste discarded due to human and animal activity. Different disposal methods are used, including open dumps, landfills, sanitary landfills, and incineration plants.
02
Construction & Demolition
IOC/ECO manages significant amounts of Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW) across the Kingdom, accounting for more than a third of all waste generated in KSA. This waste includes materials such as concrete, bricks, wood, glass, metals, and plastic, produced during the construction, demolition, and maintenance of buildings, infrastructure, and roads.
03
Sewage / Wastewaters Services
IOC/ECO operates across various cities, supporting organizations of all sizes in managing rainwater and sewage through tankers, vacuum tankers, and super suckers. Sewage treatment, part of sanitation, also includes managing human waste, solid waste, and stormwater. The terms "sewage treatment plant" and "wastewater treatment plant" are often used interchangeably.
04
Hazardous Waste
Hazardous materials can harm human health or the environment and must be handled properly. IOC/ECO manages hazardous waste through an effective process, addressing four classifications: characteristic, universal, mixed, and controlled wastes.
  • Regular inspection of hazardous waste areas.
  • Documentation and resolution of any concerns.
  • Immediate response to spills, with proper cleanup and disposal.
  • Maintenance of containment structures and safety equipment.
05
Medical Waste
Medical waste, often contaminated by blood, body fluids, or infectious materials, is regulated for safety. IOC/ECO plays a crucial role in protecting the environment and human health through proven processes for safe collection and disposal.
06
Waste-to-Energy
IOC/ECO manages the conversion of non-recyclable waste into heat, electricity, or fuel using renewable energy methods like anaerobic digestion and plasma gasification. The team ensures the use of safe methods, maintaining high standards and optimal outcomes.
07
Recycling
IOC/ECO plays a key role in reducing waste sent to landfills and incinerators across the Kingdom. By recycling, IOC/ECO helps prevent pollution, reduce greenhouse gases, and minimize the need for new raw materials. We manage the recycling of both inorganic waste (plastic, glass, metals) and organic waste (paper, food).
